Children enter our program as individuals with their unique blend of intelligences, personalities, temperaments, talents, interests and learning styles. Our goal at Vic Kids is to create a developmentally appropriate learning environment that nurtures and supports all types of learners.

Our educators design and implement a strong, rich, and creative emergent curriculum in all programs. This curriculum centers around inspiring a child’s love of learning through play and is influenced by a variety of philosophies including Montessori and Reggio Emilia. Learning through play has been identified as vital to a child’s early development and is key in laying the foundations for early literature, math, science, and art skills. Every moment of play is an opportunity to teach and allow children to be creative, curious, adventurous, and inquisitive. Our learning through play approach is also supported by language enrichment, artistic expression, and hands-on-experiences.
