At Victoria Kids we embrace children from all backgrounds. We are an inclusive child care centre that believes children of all abilities should have equal access to participate in learning experiences. We are actively working to include and improve accessibility features at our facility. Victoria Kids recognizes and respects diversity. Diversity strengthens a child’s self-esteem, confidence and emotional development. Opportunities are provided to help children learn that individuals are different and also similar. Our classroom materials and routines are designed to support our curriculum and centre values. We strive to include educators with diverse backgrounds. We welcome the four foundations of Well-being, Expression, Engagement, and Belonging. From language and literacy development to social skills and creative expression, the children at Vic Kids are constantly exposed to new activities and environments in which to succeed. We believe that children deserve to play and learn in as many different ways as possible.

At Victoria Kids Out and About we strengthen all developmental domains while promoting respect and understanding of self (the physical, the mental, the emotional, and the spiritual), respect for others, and respect for our surrounding environment and community. This allows children to form an understanding of themselves and their place in the world through their interactions and relationships with others. We place a strong focus on social collaboration and working in groups, where each child is an equal participant whose thoughts and questions are valued.
