  • Infant Program

    At Vic Kids it is our role to support and encourage our infants to develop their physical, emotional, social and intellectual goals in a positive and exciting environment. A wide range of scheduled and unscheduled activities are provided throughout the day to help build your child’s growth and confidence. This includes introducing yoga, music, going on outings and exploring new cultures and languages throughout the year with fully trained and licensed educators.

    We introduce an emergent program that flows with what the interests of the children might be for the day, week or month. We also have aspects of Montessori, Reggio and learning through play built in with our programming for a completely enriched experience. We work closely with parents and educators in the toddler programs to ensure a smooth transition once your little one graduates into our toddler program.

  • Toddler Program

    Our toddler program has a more structured schedule to prepare the children to move into the big world of Preschool! While we still implement an emergent program, we are able to focus more on the interests of the toddler as the toddlers start to develop language skills.

    Transitioning from infants to early-learners (i.e. toddler), self-directed play becomes an important theme in this program; learning outcomes of our toddler program include language development, socialization, self-help and fine motor skills. Language development is promoted in a variety of ways such as labeling the surrounding environment, repetition of emerging vocabulary, in addition to other personalized goals. All of this contributes to toddlers becoming confident learners.

  • 3-5 Program

    A good preschool 3-5 curriculum addresses the needs of early childhood learners and spurs positive development. Children are active and eager to learn, and they deserve an active and exciting learning experience. The ‘emergent curriculum’ has recently become a highly talked about and effective way to go about early child care.

    We have found it beneficial to extract the spontaneity and fluidity of this daycare program, and pair it with other traditional pre-k methods. This kind of early childhood education gives kids an opportunity to positively develop social skills, brainpower, and creativity among their peers.
